Gumnut House is situated in Wanganui East on half an acre of private garden. Guests will find a peaceful place to relax, watch the tui’s and enjoy a glass of wine on the verandah. It is a picturesque ten minute walk along the riverbank to the main street of Wanganui. Five minutes walk from the back gate is the iconic Kowhai Park.

Your kiwi hosts are Barry and Maryann, they returned home to New Zealand after living overseas for many years. Barry has a passion for classic cars, motorbikes (and anything that runs on petrol). Maryann enjoys travel, friends and family and a good book. They love living in Wanganui and have created a sanctuary for guests to come and stay.
